3/3 館藏發展

從大陸山西回來後,感覺台灣真是美好的不真實
上禮拜的館藏發展,老師帶領同學一起跳在大陸狂跳的"台客舞"
彷彿把我們在大陸的熱情也給帶了回來
跳完台客舞沒多久,老師就我們上個學期的學期狀況講評
並言明此後的英文閱讀會多,希望我們的英文能多加強
老師說:他覺得班上不論成績,都沒有看到找到讀書興趣的人
希望我是那個可以找到讀書興趣的人呀!!!

這禮拜的館藏發展,接續上個禮拜的進度
圖書館權利書(Library Bill of Rights, 1996)的內容

The American Library Association affirms that all libraries are forums for information and ideas, and that the following basic policies should guide their services.

美國圖書館學會確認所有的圖書館都是資訊及思想的論壇, 其服務應遵守下列的原則。

Books and other library resources should be provided for the interest, information, and enlightenment of all people of the community the library services. Materials should not be excluded because of the origin, background, or views of those contributing to their creation.

圖書與其他資源應滿足服務社區內所有民眾的興趣、資訊、啟發之所需, 不能因作者的種族、背景、觀點而被排除。


Libraries should provide materials and information presenting all points of view on current and historical issues. Materials should not be proscribed or removed because of partisan or doctrinal disapproval.

圖書館應提供當前或過去議題各種觀點的資料與資訊。不應為了個人或教義不同, 而被禁制或移除。


Libraries should challenge censorship in the fulfillment of their responsibility to provide information and enlightenment.

為了滿足供資訊及啟發他人的責任, 圖書館應該挑戰檢查制度。


Libraries should cooperate with all persons and groups concerned with resisting abridgment of free expression and free access to ideas.

圖書館應與相關人士及團體合作, 關注被剝奪自由表達及自由近用思想之事。


A person's right to use a library should not be denied or abridged because of origin, age, background, or views.

使用圖書館的權利, 不得因種族、年齡、背景或觀點之不同而遭受到否定或剝奪。


Libraries which make exhibit spaces and meeting rooms available to the public they serve should make such facilities available on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting their use.

備有供民眾使用展覽空間及會議室的圖書館, 應排除使用者或團體的信仰或關係, 在平等的基礎上提供使用的機會。

老師說,下次的考試只有男生要考,真的是很開心:)
